One Step A Time ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Rausa mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
A. Personal Data
- Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address and username to manage your account and sync your data via Supabase.
- Photos: If you choose to attach photos to your ratings, we process these images. We strip EXIF metadata (like GPS location from the photo itself) before storage for your privacy.
B. Device Permissions
To provide its core features, Rausa requests access to:
- Location: To automatically tag your ratings with a location and show them on a map.
- Camera/Photos: To allow you to take or select photos for your entries.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the app.
- To sync your collection across your devices.
- To provide AI-powered insights (via Google and OpenAI) based on the photos and text you provide.
- To prevent fraud and maintain community safety (Moderation).
3. Data Storage and Security
- Encryption: Your data is stored securely using Supabase (industry-standard encryption).
- Ownership: You own your data. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
- No Ads/Trackers: Rausa does not contain third-party advertisements or trackers.
4. Your Rights and Data Deletion
- Access and Export: You can export your data as CSV or PDF at any time within the app.
- Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data directly from the "Account Settings" screen. This action is permanent and removes all your records from our servers.
Data Deletion Request
Google Play requires a way for you to request the deletion of your account and data if you can no longer access the app. To request manual deletion of your account and all associated data, please email us at rausa@onestepatime.com from the email address associated with your account.
Your request will be processed within 7 business days, and you will receive a confirmation email once your data has been permanently removed.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following services to power Rausa:
- Supabase: Database and Authentication.
- Google & OpenAI: AI analysis and system redundancy.
- OpenStreetMap/Photon: Location search and mapping.
- Sentry: Error reporting (to fix crashes).
